This is one of several “Best of Sacramento” stories I managed and helped write during my tenure on staff at Sacramento magazine. My absolute favorite part of doing this article every year was helping select the editors’ picks. Through the editors’ picks, we were able to highlight some cool, possibly not-well-known things in the Sacramento region. That was very gratifying for me.
